A slow afternoon among the tasting rooms, with someone else at the wheel. Private rides from Seattle and the Eastside to Woodinville wine country.

Tasting, unhurried

Savor the afternoon. Leave the driving to us.

Woodinville is home to a remarkable concentration of tasting rooms, all within a short drive of Seattle. It is one of the region’s favorite ways to spend a Saturday—and one of the best reasons to hand someone else the keys.

With a private chauffeur, your group can move between tasting rooms at its own pace, linger over lunch, and head home comfortably when the day is done. You choose the stops; we handle the route.

Getting to know Woodinville

Woodinville sits in the Sammamish River valley, about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle depending on traffic. Its tasting rooms cluster in a few distinct areas, each with its own character. The Hollywood District gathers around the historic schoolhouse and the roundabout at the south end of town. The Warehouse District, a short drive away, is a collection of intimate tasting rooms tucked into light-industrial buildings. The West Valley area, along the road on the valley’s western side, adds more rooms and a quieter pace.

Moving between those areas is easy by car but tricky on foot, which is exactly why a chauffeured wine tour makes sense.

A private car also changes the tone of the day. No one in the group has to be the designated driver, no one needs to watch the clock for parking, and the conversation carries on between stops rather than splitting into separate cars. Your chauffeur keeps track of timing, knows how to move between the districts efficiently, and waits nearby while you taste. When the afternoon is done, everyone travels home together, bottles and all. It is a small luxury that makes wine country feel the way it should: slow, generous, and easy.

Planning a comfortable tasting day

  • Choose three or four tasting rooms rather than trying to see everything.
  • Make tasting reservations directly with the wineries, especially on weekends.
  • Build in time for lunch between visits.
  • Share your full plan with us so timing between stops stays relaxed.
  • Tell us if you would like anything prepared for the ride.

From Seattle and the Eastside

Most wine tour days begin in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, or Redmond. We collect each guest, then take the scenic route north. Hotel guests visiting the region often combine a tasting day with a stay in the city; if you are flying in, begin with our Sea-Tac airport service. For residents of the lakeside Eastside, our Kirkland and Redmond pages cover local rides as well.

Celebrations in wine country

A tasting day works beautifully for birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette weekends, and corporate outings. Larger groups can travel together in the Executive Sprinter, which seats up to thirteen guests. Couples marrying at a Woodinville venue can pair the day with our wedding transportation.

Wine tour reservations are quoted per itinerary and confirmed before booking, including how additional time is handled if the afternoon runs long.

Planning tip: read planning a Woodinville wine-tasting day in our journal.
